We had the honor of celebrating Chinese New Year over a wonderful dinner with our friend Erin Chao's family on January 24th. Erin's mother who was visiting from Taiwan cooked amazing dishes for us. Just imagine the taste by looking at the pictures here :)
Unlike past years, this year's new year reminded me of お正月 in Japan - basically because of the weather. Very crisp air but still contains a scent of spring.
I cooked お雑煮 in the morning, いくらうに丼 (which btw gG loved - especially うに) and おせち for lunch, and えびフライ and other stuff for dinner. Yep, I cooked again all day :)
The new year resolution? I have one. I am going to spend more time on myself and think how I really want to live the rest of my life. I think it is time!
